our first landscaping project.

when i say "our", i really mean COLBY'S first landscaping project seeing that i didn't do much of anything to help. at any rate, he worked very hard and is very proud of it. it looks great! see the progress.

a sleepover with aunt meg & uncle ceej.

this weekend, team dischinger hosted a sleepover for our 3 [dummermuth] nieces. and we had such a great time with the girls!

the big girls also helped me make rice krispie treats. 2 chairs pulled up to the stove and stirring away as the butter and marshmallows melted - they loved it. but they loved eating their creations even more!

and lucy, well, she's a piece of cake. just keep macy out of her face, and she's a happy camper. as you can see, macy very quickly had gotten use to the munchkins running around and situated herself on the fireplace (her favorite place) where she could keep an eye on things.

lucy sittin' pretty.

cute girls, huh? i'm a proud aunt. maybe niece dischinger can come play soon, too. :) we're loving our new home, by the way! i'll try to update more about it soon.

in case you didn't already know, i'm obsessed with my pup. which means there will be lots of macy pictures to come.

the little things.

like a daddy who never stops looking out for his little girl (goofy sunglasses and all).

like my little ball of energy pup taking an afternoon to cuddle.

like a potted flower from my youth-friend, jordy.

and probably my favorite: when my husband works hard to make me a fun dinner (& dessert!).

just the little things that really melt my heart.

we're homeowners!

here's that new front door i was talking about in my last post..

we're homeowners now! the specs: 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, fireplace, fenced backyard, giant walk-in closet, laundry room, all appliances included, & less than 5 miles to work for both colby & i.

it must be noted, however, that macy did clear the fence the day we moved it. geesh..

we're so excited about our first house, and plan for this to be our home for years to come!

visitors are welcome. so please come visit, friends & family! :)
