I would say his answers are pretty accurate this year. Favorite answer: Cinco de Mayo. It's totally random for a 5-year-old, but he actually did love it this year.

Since I had to work on Owen's birthday this year, I got up early enough to make some chocolate chip pancakes for the birthday boy. (Though, I guess as it turns out I should have made waffles!) It was a rainy day which spoiled Daddy's plans to go to the farm, so they took a trip to Costco instead where he got to pick out a fun toy: water squirt pumps. (Cue favorite outside game.) He got to watch a movie, play guy game, and have pizza for lunch. When I got home, we all loaded up and went to the bowling alley since his baseball game got rained out. He was super proud to score 1 of his 4 games over 100 (with bumpers.) setting his new record of 109. Birthday boys get to choose wherever they want for dinner, so we found ourselves at Sonic. (Clearly, the choice was his own.) Owen and I played a game of Mousetrap after we had put the babies to bed - just the two of us, past his bedtime. I think he had a great day, and is looking forward to celebrating his birthday some more with family and friends this weekend!
