my weekend in photos.

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Friday kicked off Nana & Papa's annual December Cousin Camp where they host all of their grandkids for a sleepover and Saturday morning Gingerbread house making.

Colby and I met up with friends for a date night out in Brookside. (where I, being a new seafood eater, had shrimp, mahi-mahi, & salmon!) We stopped by a friend's birthday outing before ending up at Chili's for dessert. (after a fancy dinner out.)

I had a latte in bed, then headed out for a quick brunch before splitting ways for the swim meet and picking up the kiddos.

We stopped by for a hot minute to see Daddy coaching, then hung at home for a bit until Owen's first basketball game of the season.

Stovetop hot cocoa from scratch: my homemade milkshake substitute for colder weather.

So Sunday morning, our little lady had a collision with our window sill.

Halfway through the day, her lump had become so terrible that we called our nurse's line who recommended we get her in to the ER to be sure the source of swelling wasn't cause for concern.

So so so very thankful to get a good report from the doctor, and it was business as usual for Sunday evening small group. She is one tough cookie, and wasn't phased a bit by the lump that was painful to even look at.
